Albares: We are working for the success of the 2026 Ibero-American Summit in Madrid
Madrid, October 31 (Hibya) – Spain’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, the European Union and Cooperation, José Manuel Albares, stated ahead of the 2026 Ibero-American Summit in Madrid that their goal is to strengthen regional cooperation.
In his statement, Albares said: “We want an Ibero-America that speaks with its own voice, is heard, and actively contributes to a fairer, more sustainable, and more humane world.”
He added that Spain is working hard to ensure the success of the summit in Madrid and to strengthen solidarity among Ibero-American countries, emphasizing that the spirit of cooperation is the key to regional development.
