Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

The man, in his fifties, was in the Qantas Business Lounge on Thursday morning. The overheated powerbank caught fire, filling the lounge with smoke, and around 150 people were evacuated.

Staff quickly took the man to the shower until paramedics arrived to treat his burns. He was taken to hospital in stable condition and later discharged.

According to *The Age*, a witness said they saw “battery acid splattered everywhere.” A Qantas spokesperson said the lounge was cleaned and reopened two hours later.

Australian filmmaker Leanne Tonkes was in the lounge on Thursday morning and heard the commotion. She shared a photo of the burnt powerbank shortly after the explosion.

“I hope the man who caught fire is okay. The staff and those who jumped in to help reacted very quickly — getting him into the shower and everyone else out,” she wrote.

Qantas is currently reviewing its policy on passengers carrying lithium batteries, including portable powerbanks, and is expected to release an update soon.
