Weel: The Netherlands will support the work of the CMCC
Amsterdam, November 7 (Hibya) – Dutch Foreign Minister David van Weel stated that his country will support the work of the Civil-Military Coordination Center (CMCC) established in Gaza.
Foreign Minister Weel recalled that the Civil-Military Coordination Center (CMCC) was established under U.S. leadership as part of the Gaza peace plan.
Emphasizing that the center’s purpose is to guide international efforts in stability, humanitarian aid, and reconstruction, Weel said, “The Netherlands will also support the work of the CMCC.”
Weel also discussed with Lieutenant General Patrick Frank the current needs, the future development of the CMCC, cooperation with other missions in the region, and the importance of Palestinian participation.
