Lazzarini met with the Vice President of the Republic of Türkiye Yılmaz
Antalya, April 12 (Hibya) – UNRWA Commissioner-General Philippe Lazzarini met with the Vice President of the Republic of Türkiye, Cevdet Yılmaz.
Lazzarini stated that Türkiye’s role in regional and global developments, its leading voice on the issue of Palestinian refugees, and its support for UNRWA were the main topics discussed with Vice President Yılmaz during the Antalya Diplomacy Forum.
He added that this reflects the solidarity of the Turkish people and the view that more needs to be done to ensure a ceasefire and deliver meaningful aid to the people of Gaza.
