Ghebreyesus: Civilians and humanitarian aid workers must always be protected
Geneva, April 13 (Hibya) – World Health Organization (WHO) Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus issued a statement regarding the attacks on Zamzam and Abu Shouk camps and the town of Al Fasher.
WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said he was horrified by reports of the attacks on Zamzam and Abu Shouk camps and the town of Al Fasher.
“Around 100 civilians were killed, and nine humanitarian aid workers from an international organization providing health services lost their lives. Civilians and humanitarian aid workers must always be protected,” Ghebreyesus said.
