Lahbib: 36 million people in the Sahel region need humanitarian aid
Brussels, February 5 (Hibya) - European Commissioner for Equality, Preparedness, and Crisis Management, Hadja Lahbib, met with the European Union's Special Representative for the Sahel, Joao Gomes Cravinho.

Lahbib stated that 36 million people in the Sahel region need humanitarian aid, adding: "The EU must be fully engaged, as the region holds strategic importance."
