Iran expresses support for Syria
Tehran, July 18 (Hibya) – Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei said that they stand by the Syrian people and strongly and clearly support Syria’s national sovereignty and territorial integrity.
Baghaei stated that the European Union, by referring to Israel's blatant act of aggression as "increased attacks on Syrian territory", has even rejected the claim of moral integrity.
Baghaei said that Iran, proud of its firm stance against aggression and unlawful behavior, rejects selective outrage and double standards, adding: “As always, we stand with the Syrian people and strongly and clearly support Syria’s national sovereignty and territorial integrity.”
