EP: North Macedonia needs to take action
Brussels, May 18 (Hibya) – The European Parliament (EP) stated that North Macedonia could move closer to joining the European Union (EU), but it needs to take action.
In a statement from the Parliament, it was noted that North Macedonia could come closer to EU membership but needs to act.
The statement emphasized that the Parliament fully supports North Macedonia's EU aspirations, including its ambitious Reform Agenda, saying: "However, strong reforms are needed to move forward on the EU path, including constitutional changes and anti-corruption policies."
