Eight out of ten Russians trust Putin
Moscow, March 14 (Hibya) - According to the results of a survey conducted by the Russian Public Opinion Research Center, eight out of ten Russians (79.3%) trust Russian President Vladimir Putin, while 77.2% of respondents approve of his work as head of state.
The majority of surveyed Russians (79.3%) stated that they trust Putin, while 17% said they do not trust him. Additionally, 77.2% of Russian citizens approve of the president’s activities, while 14.6% disapprove.
The Russian government's work is approved by 52.4% of Russians, while 18.2% disapprove. Moreover, according to the survey results, 61.6% of respondents trust Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, while 19.7% do not.
The survey was conducted from March 3 to 9, 2025, among 1.6 thousand Russians aged 18 and older, through telephone interviews using a random sample of mobile phone numbers.
