Copenhagen Airport Reopens After Drone Activity
Copenhagen, February 1 (Hibya) - Air traffic at Copenhagen Airport, which had been closed earlier due to drone activity, has resumed for landings and takeoffs.
Air traffic at Copenhagen Airport was suspended from 22:41 on Friday until 00:30 on Saturday local time.
As a result of the closure, flights were redirected to Malmö Airport in Sweden and other airports.
On Friday evening, Copenhagen police reported observing drone activity near Avedøre Holme and Amager Fælled.
On social media platform X, it was stated that the police are conducting further investigations.
The police issued a brief statement: "We currently have no further information."
It remains unclear whether one or multiple drones caused the closure and who is responsible.
