Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky met with Guinea-Bissau President Umaro Sissoco Embalo.

President Zelensky informed President Embalo about Russia's attacks on Ukraine's energy sector, the defense operation in the Kursk region, and the participation of North Korean troops in Russia's invasion.

Zelensky expressed his gratitude to President Embalo for supporting Ukraine's sovereignty, territorial integrity, and people.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated: "We also discussed bilateral relations and food security, as well as Ukraine’s humanitarian initiatives 'Grain from Ukraine' and 'Food from Ukraine'. This year is crucial for achieving a just and lasting peace for Ukraine and the world. We rely on the support of Guinea-Bissau and other African countries in this effort."
