Cassis meets Jordanian Foreign Minister Safadi
Amman, October 23 (Hibya) – Swiss Foreign Minister Ignazio Cassis met with Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi.
Swiss Foreign Minister Cassis expressed his pleasure at meeting Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi in Amman.
Cassis stated that their talks focused on the conflict in the Middle East, particularly on the situation in Gaza following the October 10 ceasefire, and on the opportunities offered by the U.S. 20-Point Peace Plan. “Switzerland appreciates Jordan’s important role in promoting stability and peace in the region,” he said.
