President Aliyev conveyed his heartfelt congratulations to Pezeshkian and the Iranian people on the national holiday of the Islamic Republic of Iran – the Victory Day of the Islamic Revolution.

Highlighting the importance of developing interstate relations between Azerbaijan and Iran, Aliyev stated:

“The relations between our countries are based on strong ties rooted in the shared history, religious, and cultural values of our peoples. At present, our countries are cooperating effectively in the fields of economy, trade, transportation, and energy. There are favorable opportunities to further expand our mutual engagement and enrich it with new content.”

Aliyev added: “On this joyous day, I wish you health, happiness, and success in your work, and for the friendly and brotherly people of Iran, lasting peace and prosperity.”
