Hamas spokesperson: "The language of threats has no value"
Stockholm, February 11 (Hibya) - On Monday night, Donald Trump stated that if all hostages were not returned by Saturday, "the apocalypse would break out," but Palestinians in some areas of Gaza are defying the US president's threats.
Yesterday, Hamas announced that it would delay the next round of releasing Israeli hostages.
Responding to Trump's remarks, the Hamas spokesperson said, "The language of threats has no value."
Trump called on Gaza's neighboring countries to grant asylum to Palestinians as part of his "takeover" plan, but Egypt, Syria, and Turkey opposed this.
Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowed "determined and relentless action" to secure the return of Israeli hostages held in Gaza.
