At least 10 killed in Russia’s attack on Kyiv
Kyiv, July 6 (Hibya) - Ukraine’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that at least 10 people were killed, more than 40 others, including two children, were injured, and 15 residential buildings were damaged in Russia’s latest attack on Kyiv.
In a statement, Ukraine’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that Russia had carried out a large-scale attack targeting civilians in Ukraine for the second time within a week, stating: “For the second time in one week, Russia has launched a massive attack against civilians in Ukraine. For the second time in one week, a day of mourning has been declared in Kyiv.”
The statement also alleged that Russia is systematically using ballistic missiles against civilians, saying: “Today, a ballistic missile struck a residential building, killing and injuring innocent people.”
Highlighting the importance of support for air defense systems, the ministry said: “Every delay in the delivery of air defense missiles, including Patriots, costs human lives. Every delay gives Russia another opportunity to kill more people. Ukraine must have the means to protect its people.”
