Prime Minister Anthony Albanese emphasized that Australia’s relations with China are crucial for economic, security, and regional stability.

He noted that efforts to revive trade relations with China have made a significant difference for Australian workers and businesses, adding that China is Australia’s largest trading partner.

Albanese said that his meeting with Chinese Premier Li Qiang provided an opportunity to stabilize relations between the two countries.

“Through direct contact and regular dialogue, we can manage our differences and defend Australia’s interests,” Albanese stated.
