President Zelensky thanked all members of parliament who voted to pass the bill into law.

He noted that he had just signed the document, and it is now officially a law:

"The text will be published immediately. This law guarantees the independent and proper functioning of Ukraine’s anti-corruption institutions and all law enforcement bodies. It also ensures regular polygraph (lie detector) tests for all officers who have access to state secrets or have relatives in Russia, to prevent external influence or interference. This is the right decision. It is very important that the state listens to the voice of the people and hears its citizens. Ukraine is undoubtedly a democracy."
