Iran rejects accusations by the U.S. and some Western countries
Tehran, August 1 (Hibya) – Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei condemned the United States, France, and several other Western countries for repeating accusations against Iran.
According to a statement from the ministry, Baghaei criticized the move as a deliberate distraction strategy aimed at diverting public attention from the most urgent issue of the day – the genocide in the occupied Palestinian territories.
Rejecting the countries' security-related claims, Baghaei stated: “The United States, France, and other signatories of the anti-Iran statement must be held accountable for supporting and hosting violent and terrorist elements and groups, as they violate international law by supporting terrorism.”
