President Zelensky received a detailed report from the Ukrainian delegation on the progress of the negotiations with the US representatives in Saudi Arabia, including key issues.

Emphasizing that Ukraine is ready to do its part in creating all the conditions for moving towards a reliable, stable, and lasting peace, Zelensky said, "I thank our teams for restarting military aid and intelligence sharing. Ukraine was ready for an air and sea ceasefire, but the US proposed extending it to the land. Ukraine welcomes this proposal. The control of such a ceasefire continues to be an important issue, and we appreciate the US's willingness to organize the technical aspects of this control."

On the need for security, Zelensky noted:

"Unfortunately, for more than a day, the world has not heard any meaningful response from Russia to the proposals. This once again shows that Russia is trying to extend the war and delay peace as much as possible. We hope that the pressure from the US will be enough to force Russia to end the war. Our team is ready to continue working constructively with all partners in America, Europe, and other parts of the world who are determined to bring peace closer."
