Iran condemns Israel's blockade of food supplies and power cuts in Gaza
Tehran, March 13 (Hibya) - Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmail Baghaei condemned Israel’s actions in preventing the delivery of essential supplies to the Gaza Strip and cutting off electricity in the region.
Baghaei stated that these measures are part of a policy of imposing starvation on the Palestinian people, describing them as a crime against humanity and a continuation of genocide.
He stressed that Israel has repeatedly violated the Gaza ceasefire agreement and reminded that all governments have a collective responsibility to stop grave violations of international humanitarian law, which undoubtedly constitute war crimes and crimes against humanity.
Baghaei called on the United Nations Security Council and other relevant international organizations to end their inaction regarding Israel’s crimes and the ongoing genocide in Gaza.
