Zelensky sends message on the occasion of Turkey’s Republic Day, October 29
Kyiv, October 29 (Hibya) – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky congratulated Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and the people of Turkey on the occasion of the Republic Day of Turkey, celebrated on October 29.
Zelensky emphasized the importance of the friendly and warm relations between Ukraine and Turkey, highlighting also the value of security cooperation in the Black Sea region.
He thanked Turkey for its steadfast support of Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, its principled stance on important issues, and its readiness to contribute to peace. President Zelensky noted that Turkey’s position in international relations has been strengthening and wished the country and its friendly people continued prosperity and well-being.
