Zelensky: Russians bombed Zaporizhia with air bombs
Kyiv, January 8 (Hibya) – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky made a statement regarding Russia’s attack on Zaporizhia.
Ukrainian President Zelensky stated that the Russians bombed Zaporizhia with air bombs, describing it as a deliberate attack on the city.
Zelensky reported that dozens of people had been injured so far: “All are receiving the necessary assistance. Unfortunately, we know that 13 people have died. I extend my condolences to their families and loved ones. Sadly, the number of casualties may increase.”
Zelensky emphasized that there is nothing more cruel than dropping air bombs on a city, knowing that innocent civilians will suffer.
He stated that Russia must be pressured for its terrorism, saying: “Lives in Ukraine must be protected. Such a war can only be ended with strength and lasting peace.”
