President Zelensky emphasized that Russia once again launched attacks overnight against critical infrastructure and ordinary residential buildings.

He noted that 420 drones and 39 missiles of various types, including 11 ballistic missiles, were launched at the Ukrainian people. "Destruction was recorded in eight regions, and many private homes and apartment buildings were damaged. So far, dozens of people, including children, have been reported injured as a result of this attack," he said.

Zelensky pointed out that gas infrastructure facilities in the Poltava region, as well as electrical substations in the Kyiv and Dnipro regions, were targeted. "Most of the missiles launched today were successfully intercepted thanks to the rapid delivery by our partners of part of the air defense missiles agreed upon at the latest Ramstein meeting. Unfortunately, there were also hits. This means we must continue to work even more actively," he stated.

Zelensky added that as Russia continues its attempts to destroy energy systems, there is a daily need for air defense missiles.
