Kazakh Foreign Minister Kosherbayev’s contacts in London
London, February 26 (Hibya) - Kazakhstan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Yermek Kosherbayev, together with his counterparts from Central Asian countries, met at the UK Parliament with members of the All-Party Parliamentary Group for Cooperation with Central Asia.
During his meetings in London with members of the UK Parliament, Kazakh Foreign Minister Yermek Kosherbayev emphasized the role of interparliamentary dialogue in bilateral and regional relations.
Kosherbayev noted that the United Kingdom is one of the key partners in Europe and highlighted the importance of cooperation in the areas of political dialogue, trade and investment, education, innovation, and sustainable development. He also stated that interparliamentary contacts strengthen mutual understanding and facilitate coordination on regional and international issues.
The talks addressed Central Asia’s growing potential as well as shared topics such as regional stability, sustainable development, and climate change.
Kosherbayev also met with Speaker of the House of Commons Lindsay Hoyle and expressed his belief that bilateral relations will continue to develop on the basis of mutual respect and trust.
