Ukrainian President Zelensky stated that he met with European Investment Bank President Nadia Calvino and welcomed her first visit to Ukraine.

Zelensky expressed gratitude for the European Investment Bank’s ongoing support since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion and added:

“We discussed providing further assistance to Ukraine's energy sector, building shelters in schools and kindergartens, and financing humanitarian projects such as developing border crossing infrastructure. The main focus was on supporting internally displaced persons who lost their homes due to Russian aggression.”
