Zelensky: Evaluation of Energy Infrastructure
Kiev, February 10 (Hibya) - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky received information about the current state of the energy sector.
Ukrainian President Zelensky held a coordination meeting regarding the current situation of the energy sector in the country.
Zelensky noted that reports from the Sumy, Kharkiv, and Poltava regions, where the power supply situation is most difficult, were examined in detail. "Not all communities are able to resolve their issues on time, and consequences should be drawn from this. There are also problems in the cities of the Dnipro region, particularly in Krivyi Rih. The responses of local authorities to long-term power outages and the associated challenges are often delayed," he said.
Zelensky also emphasized that the Ukrainian Armed Forces Air Force needs to expand its capacity to protect against attack drones in the Kharkiv region and other bordering areas with Russia. "In some communities in the Odessa region, additional measures are being taken to support people who rely on electric heating in their homes. For each such building, local authorities must provide a clear response regarding real support for people," he added.
