Zelensky: Dozens injured in different parts of the city
Kyiv, July 31 (Hibya) – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that he received a report from Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko and shared information regarding casualties from Russia’s attack on Ukraine.
According to Zelensky, it has been confirmed that seven people, including one child, have died so far. He noted that dozens of people were injured in different areas of the city, that 80 people had received necessary aid, 64 were wounded, and 50 are currently in the hospital.
Zelensky added that 9 children were among the wounded, stating:
"Many buildings in the city were damaged; these include ordinary residential buildings and other facilities – all civilian. One of the damaged sites is also one of the mosques in Kyiv. The attack was extremely insidious and deliberately planned to overload the air defense system."
