Von der Leyen: Ukrainian children abducted by Russia must be returned
Brussels, 23 November (Hibya) – European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen stressed that any agreements for a just and lasting peace must include the return of Ukrainian children taken by Russia.
Von der Leyen stated that agreements aimed at ensuring a just and lasting peace and safeguarding Ukraine’s sovereignty must also provide for the return of Ukrainian children abducted by Russia.
She added, “We will not stop until every child is reunited with their family and their home,” emphasizing the importance of reuniting children with their families.
