Hawaii’s Kilauea volcano has been erupting since last year
Stockholm, 23 November (Hibya) – Hawaii’s Kilauea volcano has continued a series of semi-regular eruptions, spewing lava high from its summit crater since late last year.
According to the U.S. Geological Survey, scientists report dozens of eruptions following the same magma path, with lava fountains reaching up to 400 meters.
The activity remains within the boundaries of Hawaii Volcanoes National Park and poses no risk to nearby homes.
Visitors can view the spectacular scene from designated viewpoints, while live streams provided by U.S. geologists attract significant attention online.
