Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

Lebanese media published footage from the scene in Dahieh. Tabatabai, a senior and largely secretive figure within the group, has long been considered one of Hezbollah’s most influential military commanders. The United States designated him an international terrorist in 2016. Reports indicate that he oversaw Hezbollah’s special forces in Syria and Yemen.

Israeli officials described the attempted strike as a significant blow to the organization. They noted that, following the assassination of several senior Hezbollah leaders in recent months, substantial authority had shifted to Tabatabai, effectively making him the group’s interim military chief. Hezbollah’s response remains uncertain.

An Israeli official stated that the operation was carried out in coordination with the United States. “In the past, Americans vetoed operations in Beirut, but due to the paralysis of Lebanese authorities, they understood this strike was necessary,” he said.

Lebanese media reported that the strike targeted an apartment on Al-Arid Street in the Haret Hreik neighborhood of Dahieh. Ambulances were dispatched to the area.

Earlier on Sunday, Lebanese media reported that a Hezbollah member named Mohammed Salah was killed in a drone strike on a vehicle in the southern village of Ayta al-Shaab. According to the Lebanese National News Agency, Salah was a former detainee held in the Khiam prison in southern Lebanon. Reports state he was struck by an Israeli drone while driving in the Arjam neighborhood to collect repair materials for his home in Ayta al-Shaab.
