UNRWA: The ban imposed by Israeli authorities must be lifted
New York, August 30 (Hibya) – The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) stated that the ban imposed by Israeli authorities on delivering humanitarian aid to Gaza must be lifted.
In a statement, UNRWA emphasized that Israeli authorities must lift the ban preventing the agency from delivering humanitarian aid to Gaza.
The statement, stressing readiness to continue operations, said: “Our warehouses in Egypt and Jordan are stocked to fill about 6,000 trucks. UNRWA has the necessary system to distribute aid safely and on a wide scale. Let us deliver our life-saving aid by road.”
