Sybiha: It is important to support words of solidarity with concrete actions
Kyiv, August 30 (Hibya) – Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha said that it is important to support words of solidarity with concrete actions to stop the aggressor.
Sybiha noted that, at Ukraine’s request, the UN Security Council was convened yesterday for an emergency meeting to discuss Russia’s recent terrorist attacks.
He stressed that strengthening Ukraine’s defense capabilities is vital both to protect its people and to force Russia to engage constructively in peace efforts.
“We are grateful to all Security Council members who condemned Russian terror killing Ukrainians, including children. It is important to support words of solidarity with concrete actions to stop the aggressor,” Sybiha said.
