UNRWA: Gaza covered with more than 61 million tons of debris
New York, October 23 (Hibya) – The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) issued a statement regarding Gaza.
According to the UNRWA statement, Gaza is currently covered with more than 61 million tons of debris.
The statement noted that neighborhoods have been leveled and families are searching among the ruins for water and shelter. It added: “UNRWA’s humanitarian aid continues to be obstructed, but our teams are still providing life-saving assistance.”
