UNRWA: Around 40,000 Palestinian refugees forcibly displaced
New York, February 10 (Hibya) - The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) announced that around 40,000 Palestinian refugees have been forcibly displaced from the northern West Bank.
In a statement, UNRWA noted that Israeli military operations are escalating at an alarming rate, leading to the forced displacement of approximately 40,000 Palestinian refugees from the northern West Bank.
The statement further mentioned that since January 21, Israel’s "Iron Wall" operation has nearly emptied several refugee camps, making it the longest military operation in the West Bank since the Second Intifada.
