Trump imposes 25% tariff on steel and aluminum
Washington, February 11 (Hibya) - U.S. President Donald Trump on Monday imposed a 25% tariff on all steel and aluminum imports to the U.S., with no exceptions or exemptions.
Although most U.S. steel comes from Canada, Brazil, and Mexico, the tariffs largely, albeit indirectly, target China.
Announcing the tariffs, Trump said: "This is a big deal. Make America rich again."
