Ukraine’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs congratulated the country’s electronic warfare personnel on Electronic Warfare Forces Day. The ministry said the work carried out by electronic warfare specialists often remains outside public attention but is of great importance to Ukraine’s defense system.

The statement said electronic warfare specialists working under difficult conditions divert hundreds of enemy unmanned aerial vehicles away from Ukrainian cities and settlements every day, contribute to protecting military communications and enable other units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces to carry out their missions more effectively.

The ministry thanked electronic warfare personnel for their professionalism in their daily duties and their continuous innovative work. The statement emphasized that electronic warfare specialists contribute to saving thousands of lives.
