Tusk: New U.S. tariffs could reduce Poland’s GDP by 0.4%
Warsaw, April 3 (Hibya) – Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk announced that, according to a preliminary assessment, new U.S. tariffs could reduce Poland’s gross domestic product (GDP) by 0.4%.
Tusk said that even with a conservative estimate, this would mean losses exceeding 10 billion PLN.
“It’s a painful and unpleasant blow,” Tusk said, “because it’s coming from our closest ally. But we will endure it. Our friendship must also pass this test.”
