Washington, September 11 (Hibya) - US President Donald Trump, in a speech marking the anniversary of the September 11 terrorist attacks, recalled the tragedy and the stance of the American people in the face of those attacks.
US President Donald Trump emphasized that the destruction caused by the attacks would not be forgotten and highlighted the spirit of unity and solidarity the country displayed in difficult times.
Referring to the disaster that occurred that day, Trump said: “We cannot forget that tremendous and horrific moment of evil, focused on destroying everything that is good, that moment that occurred in this world. But this morning, we also remember how America responded to that evil.”
Trump concluded his statement by saying: “On days like September 11, we learn what a country is truly made of, what it holds at its core.”
