Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

On Thursday, Trump said: "As you know, on Friday I will be meeting with President Xi to discuss TikTok and trade. And we are very close to reaching an agreement on all issues."

According to Trump, relations with China are "very good," but he also noted that if European countries imposed higher tariffs on China, Russia's war in Ukraine could come to an end.

This Friday’s meeting was first announced by US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent following the US-China trade talks held earlier this week in Madrid. Bessent said that the parties had reached a framework agreement on TikTok’s ownership, but Trump and Xi are likely to finalize the deal on Friday.

China’s Embassy in Washington on Thursday did not confirm any meeting or summit between the leaders; however, spokesperson Liu Pengyu stated: "Head-of-state diplomacy plays an irreplaceable role in providing strategic guidance to China-US relations."

According to US media, the phone call could also provide clues as to whether the two presidents will meet in person to end the trade dispute and shed light on the future of relations between the two countries.

This will be Trump’s second meeting with Xi since returning to the White House, imposing steep tariffs on China, and triggering mutual trade restrictions that strained relations between the world’s two largest economies.

However, Trump expressed his willingness to negotiate trade deals with Beijing, particularly regarding the social video platform, which faces a potential US ban if its Chinese parent company does not sell its controlling stake.
