Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Tajani held a meeting with EU Trade Commissioner Sefcovic in the Belgian capital, Brussels.

Tajani said they agreed on the need to stand firm in tariff disputes and follow a dialogue-based approach, adding:

“I delivered the Italian Export Action Plan to Sefcovic to strengthen the presence of Italian companies in all growing markets. We are working to strengthen the interests of companies around the world.”

Tajani emphasized the importance of continuing efforts to create new export opportunities and to avoid trade wars that benefit no one.
