Tajani: I extend my heartfelt birthday wishes to the Holy Father
Rome, September 14 (Hibya) - Italian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani issued a congratulatory message on the occasion of the Pope's birthday.
Italian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani said he was grateful to the Holy Father for his tireless service to the Church and humanity and extended his heartfelt birthday wishes.
Referring to the Pope's role in global peace, Tajani said, "At a time marked by wars and divisions, his voice calls us to peace, solidarity and dialogue among peoples."
Stating that he was praying, Tajani said, "I pray for him and for his service in the See of Peter."
