Sybiha: We welcome New Zealand's extension of defense support for Ukraine
Kyiv, September 8 (Hibya) – Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha welcomed New Zealand's decision to extend the contribution of its Defence Force in support of Ukraine until June 2028.
Sybiha thanked New Zealand's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Winston Peters and Defence Minister Paul Goldsmith for the decision to extend the New Zealand Defence Force's contribution in support of Ukraine until June 2028.
Sybiha said they highly value New Zealand's continued support for the training of Ukrainian defenders, adding that training in electronic warfare and drone operations is also continuing within this framework.
Sybiha said New Zealand's continued support for Ukraine is an important contribution to shared security from Europe to the Indo-Pacific region.
