Spanish government allocates an additional 500 million euros for the Dependency System and ALS Law
Madrid, October 21 (Hibya) – Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez announced on social media that the government has approved an additional budget of 500 million euros to strengthen the Dependency System and address the ALS Law (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis).
Sánchez also announced the creation of a new “Grade III+” level to provide 24-hour care for people living with ALS and other complex diseases.
The Prime Minister criticized the policies of the previous conservative government, saying: “During the PP administration, more than 175,000 people were excluded from the system. We are making progress in both funding and service quality.”
Sánchez concluded his message with: “For a country that cares for everyone equally. We continue to advance in rights.”
