Albares met with UNRWA Commissioner-General Lazzarini
Madrid, October 21 (Hibya) – Spanish Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation, José Manuel Albares, met with Philippe Lazzarini, Commissioner-General of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA).
Spanish Foreign Minister José Manuel Albares announced that he met with UNRWA Commissioner-General Philippe Lazzarini.
Albares stated that they discussed UNRWA’s role in Gaza following the ceasefire, adding: “Spain supports the agency’s vital work for the survival and future of millions of Palestinians. We remain committed to peace.”
