As part of her official visit to East Asian countries, the Palestinian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Shahin, traveled to the Philippines and met in Manila with members of the Palestinian community living there. During the meeting, Shahin highlighted the importance of the voice of Palestinians abroad and the influential role they play in the societies where they reside. She also noted that every Palestinian living outside the homeland is an ambassador of their own cause.

Minister Shahin provided information on the latest political developments in Palestine and assessed the diplomatic efforts of the Palestinian leadership aimed at achieving an independent state and protecting the security, freedom, and dignity of the Palestinian people.
