Shahin evaluates Gaza and the West Bank in the Philippines
Manila, 17 November (Hibya) — Palestinian Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Farsin Aghabekian Shahin, shared his assessments on recent developments and the peace process during the “Mabini Dialogue Series” event held in the Philippines.
According to a statement from the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Shahin participated in the “Mabini Dialogue Series” organized by the Philippine Foreign Service Institute. Diplomats and researchers in the Philippines, some joining via Zoom, exchanged views on the latest situation in Gaza and the West Bank.
Minister Shahin addressed the current situation in the occupied Palestinian territories and the historical context of the conflict. Highlighting the importance of an effective diplomatic space that enables international intervention, Shahin emphasized that efforts to revive the peace process must be supported on the basis of international law and principles of justice.
