Dutch Prime Minister Schoof stated that during the virtual meeting attended by numerous international leaders at the invitation of Keir Starmer, a broad consensus was reached on continuing military and financial support for Ukraine.

Emphasizing that the temporary ceasefire proposals by the US and Ukraine are promising, Schoof said: "Now it is important to maintain pressure on Russia to engage in negotiations. Therefore, we must continue working intensively on new European sanctions. At the same time, it would be good to prepare for the next possible phase, such as the upcoming meeting of military planners in London next Thursday, where the Netherlands will participate again within the framework of security guarantees."

Schoof praised Starmer's initiative in organizing this virtual summit, highlighting that Europe is taking responsibility.
