Saar: I appreciate Hungary's decision to withdraw from the ICC
Jerusalem, April 3 (Hibya) - Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar welcomed Hungary’s decision to withdraw from the International Criminal Court (ICC).
Israeli Foreign Minister Saar stated that he appreciates Hungary’s decision to withdraw from the ICC, adding that he discussed the matter thoroughly with Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto.
Saar said that the ICC had lost its moral authority after violating the core principles of international law in an attempt to harm Israel's right to self-defense. “Thank you to Hungary for your clear and strong moral stance in support of Israel and the principles of justice and sovereignty,” he said.
