Rutte: Maintaining pressure through the shadow fleet and other means is of great importance
Brussels, October 23 (Hibya) – NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte said that maintaining pressure through support for Ukraine, sanctions, the shadow fleet, and other means is of great importance to bring Russia to the negotiating table.
NATO Secretary General Rutte expressed his satisfaction at being in Washington to discuss NATO’s support aimed at ending the war against Ukraine in a fair and lasting way.
He expressed gratitude to US President Donald Trump for his crucial efforts to stop the killings and said:
“A ceasefire is the first step — they must stay where they are. Ukraine is ready, and maintaining pressure on Russia through support for Ukraine, sanctions, the shadow fleet, and other means is of great importance to bring it to the negotiating table.”
