Qatar’s UN Permanent Representative Al Thani meets with UNOPS Executive Director Silva
New York, January 31 (Hibya) – The Permanent Representative of the State of Qatar to the United Nations, Sheikha Alya Ahmed bin Saif Al-Thani, met with the UN Under-Secretary-General and Executive Director of the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS), Jorge Moreira da Silva.
According to a statement from the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Qatar’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Al Thani, met with the UN Under-Secretary-General and UNOPS Executive Director, Jorge Moreira da Silva, at the headquarters of Qatar’s Permanent Mission in New York.
The discussion addressed the productive strategic partnership between the State of Qatar and the UNHCR, as well as ways to deliver humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip.
